Overview

What is Industrial & Manufacturing?

Industrial and manufacturing operations depend on documentation that survives the shop floor. From equipment manuals and maintenance guides to safety instructions and inspection checklists, every page must stay legible through oil, moisture, heat and repeated handling while remaining clear enough to prevent costly errors and downtime.

We produce technical documentation built for traceability and control, including versioned manuals, spec sheets and warranty cards. Durable synthetic stocks, compliance-ready formats and consistent version marking ensure the right revision reaches the right machine, supporting audits, safety compliance and reliable service across your product lifecycle.

Standards & compliance

ANSI Z535 — the safety-label system

The uniform US safety-communication standard, aligned with ISO 3864. Every product safety label follows it — signal-word panels, symbol categories and colour usage are all specified.

ANSI Z535

Signal words

Five signal words, sans-serif and uppercase only: DANGER (immediate hazard, death or serious injury), WARNING (could result in death or serious injury), CAUTION (minor or moderate injury), NOTICE (property damage), SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (general safety practices).

Product safety label anatomy

A product safety label is a signal-word panel plus a message panel. Symbols fall into four categories — hazard-alerting, mandatory action, prohibition and informational — and colour usage is fixed to the signal word.

Instructions for use

International standard covering structure, content and presentation of user instructions across industries — the baseline for manual quality that most audits reference.

Document control

What every controlled document must carry

Six standing requirements for print used on the shop floor or in a regulated environment — miss any of them and the document fails an audit.

Revision block
Rev letter/number, issue date, checked-by, approved-by — on every page, not just the cover
Part-number & issue-date footer
Same footer on every page so any single sheet is traceable back to a version
Controlled-copy stamping
Red "CONTROLLED COPY" watermark plus copy number for audit compliance
Batch traceability
Serial number or QR code linking every print to a production batch record
Laminate grade
125–250 micron gloss or matte for shop-floor pages; anti-static option for electronics assembly
Tab-divider scheme
Numbered or colour-coded tabs for fast on-line reference under time pressure
Revision workflow

How a controlled document changes

Six steps between spotting an error and destroying the last superseded copy. Every step leaves a signature or a register entry.

    1
    1 · Change request

Engineering or ops raises a red-line request against the current version.

    2
    2 · Redline & review

Marked-up copy circulated to reviewers; changes agreed in writing.

    3
    3 · Approval

Signed off against the change-control matrix — author, checker, approver.

    4
    4 · Version bump

Revision letter or number incremented; effective date recorded.

    5
    5 · Superseded-copy withdrawal

Old controlled copies collected and destroyed against the register.

    6
    6 · Reprint & re-issue

New controlled copies numbered and issued to holders; obsolete stamp applied to any residual.
